Make one! That's TIGHT!
Love ya. Don't know when I should call you- I might just take my stupid mail problem to the computer center, see if they know anything about macs- this campus is almost solely PC's. I have yet to meet another student with a mac. Not that it's something typical I ask people.. But you know. I'm far outnumbered.
Yeah, well...Apple only makes up about 3% of the personal computer market. So get used to it, I guess. :)
But hey, if the computer center has instructions for setting up a PC client, like Outlook Express, then you can probably adapt those instructions for the Mac. Here's what you need to know:
There's two main types of e-mail protocols: POP and IMAP. Need to know which one the school uses. Also:
1. the incoming mail server (probly mail.redlands.edu or something similar)
2. the outgoing mail server (probly smtp.redlands.edu, but could be the same as 1.)
That's the basic info you need to set up Mail. If you can get that, we're in business.
